Why You Don't Need to Tow It to the Dealer
A car with no working key can't be driven anywhere. That's the whole problem, and it's exactly why the dealership route is expensive: before they touch the key, you're paying to tow a car that has nothing mechanically wrong with it. The tow is often the biggest single line on the bill.
We go to the car instead. Driveway, work parking lot, side of the road — the key gets cut and programmed where the vehicle already is, and you drive it away the same visit.
Get the spare before you need it. Making a duplicate while your original key still works is far quicker and cheaper than originating a key from scratch after every key is gone. If your car came with one key and you've been meaning to sort out a second, that's the job to book on a calm afternoon rather than a bad morning.

Do I have to tow my car to the dealer?
No — that's the dealer's answer, not ours. We come to wherever the car is sitting and do the key there. Towing a car that has nothing mechanically wrong with it is usually the most expensive part of the job.
How much does a replacement key cost?
Depends on year, make, model and whether it's a basic transponder key, a remote head key or a smart proximity key. Call 631-494-9111 with those and you get a straight number up front.
I lost every key. Can you still help?
Yes. It takes longer than copying a spare because the key has to be originated from the vehicle, but it's still done on site. Mention when you call that there's no working key so we bring the right gear.
Can you program a Toyota or Lexus key?
Yes — this is where we're strongest. We run Toyota and Lexus factory diagnostic software, so key registration and immobiliser programming are handled directly rather than through a workaround.
Should I get a spare before I lose one?
Yes. A spare made while your original still works is much cheaper and faster than originating a key after all of them are gone. It's the cheapest thing you can do to avoid an expensive bad day.
